It is called magnesium oil, because of it's oily consistency.
This solution is made of magnesium chloride hexahydrate (Ph. Eur., USP, FCC, food grade) and double-distilled water. The concentration indicated refers to the content of magnesium chloride in the solution, expressed as weight percentage. Each ounce of our Pure Magnesium Oil contains 3182 mg of elemental magnesium (538 mg per teaspoon), yielding about 215 mg of elemental magnesium for 8 sprays. Content: min. 27.5% MgCl2.
